Hey, folks! Grab a donut and some coffee or...well, hell, whatever the hell you feel like. So far we have 5 returns out of 16 sent e-mails. I must say, this is a better turn-out than I expected even if it HAS only been 5, so I'd like to thank everyone who's dropped by.
Joe may or may not join us soon. He replied to the e-mail and said some stuff about Smash Country, then said that if I'm not interested "I suppose I could post once in a while at SBL if it comes back." So I can't really tell.

Oh damn! I didn't think that message would have been read that quickly haha. How are you all? I feel like I actually have an account here but can't remember my password.

So do we have a purpose of some kind? Something that will keep us glued together once again?

Dunno. We have the top-site still, but whether that matters depends on who cares.

So do we have a purpose of some kind? Something that will keep us glued together once again? Friendship and goodwill? No? How about cookies. Also, these secutrity checks are so god damn annoying...

I'm all for revamping the ideas behind the original SBL. Character submissions were always fun to read.

Before we start though, there is something that's always bugged me about the submissions.
It seems like as soon as one is "accepted" onto the site, it becomes a taboo to rethink the character and submit, or share, your own moveset. Immediately individuals are harassed or swarmed upon with "Already Accepted."
I don't feel this is right. I'm a strong advocate of expression of idea. However, I can understand not wanting to clutter the submission boards with repeat characters. I would like to propose the idea of a "Free Range" board, where people can share their movesets and character ideas for the sake of sharing them.

Well, when it gets submitted, by the time a second version is submitted, people have gotten use to the current version. No one likes change >_> I think something along the lines of a vote, along with the Free Range board would be nice. Enough votes for a move, or character as a whole, and it should replace the listed one. Not that there are many people who come here...<_<
