Well, today is the first day of E3, and so, I will do one of my favorite things ("Yeah!" shouts the crowd). So, first up is the Microsoft Keynote, which should include some interesting things. So, when it gets started (10:25; 1:25) I'll get going and post the goodies. And hey, I have a fresh new board <.<
Alright, well, here we go!
First up, Rock Band: Beatles trailer. No surprise there.
Nice and trippy (kinda >_>) Video was the opening for the game
Some guys playing a Beatles song (Day Tripper). *bobs head* >_>
Now some actual footage from the game. Typical Beatles places, and everything, but Rock Band-ized.
DLC planned, including albums, with Abby Road album shortly after release. One DLC song ("All You Need is Love") will be 360 Exclusive.
Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison come on stage, followed by Ringo and Paul., They all leave quickly. (Pay by the minute I guess)
No charts (yay), just game videos; Plus "revolutionary experiences" (Microsoft Fluid?)
Tony Hawk comes on (with Tony Hawk Ride (MORE Peripherals))
Skate Board without Wheels, and tiny bit smaller, according to Hawk. Ships later this year.
Tonys off, Guns are on. "Revenge is like a Ghost" Some shooting.
Nice trailer; Modern Warfare 2.
Gameplay Demo (Climbing a ice wall. Then falling down it.) Now some shooting.
Demo over. 2 Map Packs for 360.
Square-Enix guys are up. They have a trailer of FF13 on 360.
13 has 4 active time guages. They Summon Odin, and kill Razor-Lobster guy.
Epic's Mr. Mustard (<.<) and CliffyB come on, to show a XBLA game. (Mr. Mustards mic no work)
Shadow Complex. Side Scrolling shooter, with semi-destructable enviroments. 10+ Hours of gameplay.
Trailer of Joy Ride. Uses 360 Avatars, soit has those graphics. Completely free*, with a track maker. Don't need the game to play the tracks sent by other people.
*Microtransactions are used. for cars and stuff*
OMG. Crackdown 2! Holy Sh!t.
<_< Trailer of Crackdown 2.
Now some zombies, with exploding heads. Left4 Dead 2. Nov 17. Urban Setting. (My mom is also a Zombie killer )
Splinter Cell: Conviction trailer.
Now a gameplay demo of Conviction.
No exact linear mission structure. Changes in real time.
So far so good for the demo.
Sam busts through the door (literally), guns blazing, then jumps out the window.
Forza 3 Trailer. Cars go vroom. *shrug* October release date.
Bungie guy up. Halo: ODST Trailer. Falling...falling. Still falling. Game about falling?
Lost rookie, in New Mumbasa. ODST guys have Silenced weapons. More stealthy. Also have a Metroid-like Scan visor. No central character, Switch between multiple ODSTs after finding clues.
Some Bungie guys have Top Secret Project (Halo: Reach)
War on planet, then end with 2010 release date.
Players who buy ODST get a Reach Multiplayer Beta.
Alan Wake gameplay. All in game Footage. Looks good.
House with shots coming from it. Hole in wall, and now fence, and demons. Toaster demons. Damn, so far it looks nice. Demon bulldozer. Spring '10 Release date.
New Xbox Live Experience extended to Include last.fm. Launchs later this year for gold for free. Outside US support from Sky for TV and Movies. Video service relaunched as Zune Live, with 1080p, and adding 10 more countries. No loading According to [guy on screen idk]
Party share with Music+videos.
Facebook on your 360. Felicia Day comes out to show it off.
(Can they pack anything more into the 360, and have it still be considered a gaming console (Yes, and you know they will T_T))
Facebook Connect allows screen shots of games posted directly to your profile.
Also, Twitter on 360 (Told you).
Both go live in the fall.
Don Matrick comes on (Senior VP of Xbox)
OMG. Kojima comes on. MGS 4 on 360? MGS 5 on 360?
MGS: Rising on 360. Rising is Snake-less, and full of Raiden. Ninja Raiden, not naked raiden.
Xbox 3...60Fluid "Natal" >_> Full body motion Controller. No accessories. Probably a camera (a la EyeToy, but better)
[So far, it would make me feel stupid. Nintendo will one up it, you know.][Umm...doesn't that defeat the point of "RIDE"s board?
Voice Recognition, Face recognition. Very sensor bar like camera. Retroactive (works on old systems)
Steven Spielberg comes out.
Nope, just some talking.
Natal guy comes up. Facial Recognition comes on, and signs you in automatically [its a sell if it feeds me too <_<]
First game up: Ricochet: Brake-out but in 3D.
oooo...he so dissed the Wii ("Not like you sit on the couch using preset waggle commands")
Now: Paint Party. Next closest thing to actually painting it seems.
Microsoft seems to have pulled a Nintendo this year. Neat.
Peter Molyneux comes out to show off Natal (I have a feeling Fable 3 will support Natal. Neato)
He shows a video. Milo (Character), recognizing Clair's (Person) voice, and emotions. Very nice software demo.
Natal can recognize damn near anything. Clair drew an orange on a peice of paper, and held it up to the camera, and Milo grabbed it and read it, as if a real person. Milo will be shown off to a select number of people behind closed doors at E3.
Microsoft Keynote is now over. So far, totally sweet.
