Its Squirtle/Joe/whatever other names I used over the years. I haven't even thought of the whole SBO community in years haha. I was in 7th grade when I first found SBO that was so damn long ago. I kinda miss the good old days when I was obsessed with forums...having a life gets lame sometimes.
If people start posting here again im up for sticking around and seeing how things go.

You know, I notice a lot of reconnected contact between the SBO community this year. I got an e-mail from Dill a few months ago, an e-mail from Bill/Shawn today, and in checking that e-mail noticed the one from Shrikes and see some people here are still kicking around. I've kept in contact with a small handful of members I was closer to, and I think it's fascinating that we're all still connected in some way. I have fond memories and recognize so many usernames, it's ridiculous.
Maybe it's time to start things up again, and succeed SBO correctly for once.

That's a great idea, DAN. We have repeatedly failed to succeed SBO and we really should try again. So, what do you guys think went wrong with all of the attempts?

Immaturity. 90% of us were teenagers and everyone seemed to be cliquing with different people and there was lots of politics and "I want it this way" stuff involved. The other was that we tried to be a general site and not just stay with Smash/Nintendo stuff. I mean sure, everyone is interested in other things, but the theme of the forums was Smash and Nintendo. Now would probably be the perfect time to try going back to that since Smash 4 was announced and the Wii U is on the horizon.

Looking back at everything from SBO to Glass Owl, Fusion Lock, etc I was a completely immature dumb ass. I was friends with him in real life back in middle school. Haven't talked to him or seen him in around 3 or 4 years. How's he been?

If it's maturity/focus, then here's some good news.
1) This is SBL. We have a major theme. Sure, there are some non-thematic elements (e.g., the Sony board,) but we at least have something to grasp to. 2) It's been 5-6 years since SBO M.M.'d. The youngest member known (ansur) was 11 at the time, now he's 17. Sure, age has little to do with maturity, but time has a lot to do with it, and 5-6 years is a lot of time. We've grown.

I think if we were to try to redo the whole forum thing it would be best to actually have a new forum. It's kind of like Dill used to say, this one doesn't have that fresh smell on it. But if we were to do it here I think all it would need is some board reorganization.
